The focus of Viridis Advisors is to help clients set and achieve their sustainability benchmarks. We strive to not only assess and mitigate areas of concern but to build environmental stewardship into the cultural mindset of an organization by empowering project champions, assisting with leadership buy-in, and educating and motivating team members.
Specific capabilities include:
- LEED Accredited Professional in Operations & Maintenance
- Assisting on LEED charrettes and program meetings.
- Sustainability audits and needs assessments.
- Developing and drafting LEED prerequisite and credit documentation.
- Creating sustainable landscape management plans, hardscape management plans, environmentally preferable purchasing plans, recycling initiatives, vegetation management plans, and other goal supporting action plans.
- Assisting clients in interpreting and understanding complex environmental laws and regulations.
- Provide guidance and leadership on project teams seeking to operate under the Sustainable Sites Initiative (SITES) green landscaping management program.
- Facilitating collaboration and communication between between technical parties such as Engineers, Attorneys, Scientists, Designers, and Architects
- Incorporating the principles of sustainability into facility operations and maintenance to insure ongoing performance and profitability
